About Fast Movers

Fast Movers began in 1989 with two trucks from Alaska and a few helpers willing to do the back-breaking labor needed to move furniture.  Our first trucks were 1970s era old U-haul trade-ins and became known for their checkerboard paint schemes.  We quickly grew into a large professional moving and storage company dedicated to serving the moving needs of Utah , with 14 trucks and over 40 employees.  We are happy to report that all of the first generation trucks are no longer in use and have been replaced with larger, reliable, and faster trucks to better serve your needs.  "Finish First with Fast Movers" became our motto.  We know that when it's time to move, there are 100 other things you would rather be doing.  Our goal is to get your move completed quickly and as inexpensively as possible so you can get on with life.  We now have the finest equipment, employees and techniques found anywhere.  Please browse our site for more information about our services and don't hesitate to call if you have questions.

About Our Service

Often folks ask us about our service. Many times we are picked out of the yellow pages without any previous insight into our company. It is common for customers to “call around” the phone book and compare rates. We are often asked “why do you charge so much?” First of all, we have the best movers in the industry. Period. And they don't work for free.  We pay a premium to get the best. Second, we have the best equipment available for them to use. All of our dollies are padded to protect the items we move. Our four wheel dollies have soft rubber top caps that grip your furniture and don't slide, preventing scratches. We wash the pads in our trucks regularly to keep the dirt to a minimum. We have various techniques to protect your furniture from harm. Third, have you seen the price of gasoline lately? Our trucks drink lots of gas. And don't forget what we pay to our insurance company to protect our equipment and your goods that we transport. All these things have a price. Remember the old adage “you get what your pay for”? Well, it definitely holds true for movers. Companies that weren't here yesterday don't have a track record, don't have stable employees, don't have a list of satisfied customers, and have to charge rock bottom prices just to get the work. They haven't figured out the in's and out's of the business yet. Some aren't even insured (scary!). If the price is too good to be true it probably is.
